Intelligence Bureau (IB), under the Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA), has invited online applications for **4,987** Security Assistant / Executive (SA/Exe) positions, one of the largest IB recruitment drives this year. Applications are open from **26 July to 17 August 2025**.

Eligibility Criteria

• Educational Qualification: **10th pass** (Matriculation) from a recognized board 
• Language: Knowledge of local language/dialect of applying SIB (read/write/speak) 
• Age Limit (as on 17 Aug 2025): 18 to 27 years, relaxations applicable as per norms 

Application Fee

• General/OBC/EWS: ₹650
• Female/SC/ST/PwBD: ₹550
• Payment Modes: Debit/Credit Card, Net Banking, UPI, SBI Challan, etc. 

Salary and Classification

Pay Scale: ₹21,700–₹69,100 (Level-3, 7th CPC), along with allowances like HRA, DA, TA, and Special Security Allowance. Gross monthly salary ranges ₹30,000–₹38,000 approximately. 

Selection Process

1. **Tier I (Objective)** – Written exam with sections like General Awareness, Reasoning, Quantitative Aptitude, English, etc. (100 marks)
2. **Tier II (Descriptive)** – e.g., essay, comprehension (as applicable)
3. **Interview / Personality Test**
4. **Character Verification** & medical fitness
