Assistant Audit Officer (AAO) / Assistant Accounts Officer (AAO)
  • Indian citizen / Nepal / Bhutan subject / Tibetan refugee (pre-1962) / PIO with Govt. of India certificate
  • Essential: Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline.
  • Desirable: CA/ CMA/ CS/ M.Com/ MBA (Finance)/ MBE or similar qualifications.
Age Limit
  • Up to 32 years.
Junior Statistical Officer (JSO)
  • Indian citizen / Nepal / Bhutan subject / Tibetan refugee (pre-1962) / PIO with Govt. of India certificate
  • Bachelor’s Degree with Statistics as one of the subjects, OR
  • 12th Standard with minimum 60% marks in Mathematics.
Age Limit
  • Up to 30 Years.
  • Statistical Investigator Grade-II
  • Indian citizen / Nepal / Bhutan subject / Tibetan refugee (pre-1962) / PIO with Govt. of India certificate
  • Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline with Statistics as one of the subjects for all 3 years.
Age limit
  • Up to 30 Years.
All Other Posts (Inspector, Assistant, Auditor, Tax Assistant, Accountant, Sub-Inspector, etc.)
  • Indian citizen / Nepal / Bhutan subject / Tibetan refugee (pre-1962) / PIO with Govt. of India certificate
  • Only a Bachelor’s Degree is required (any stream).

Physical Standards (PST)

Some posts under SSC CGL require candidates to meet specific physical standards, especially for Sub-Inspector in CBI, NIA, and Central Bureau of Narcotics. For example:

  • Height (Male): 165 cm (relaxation for certain categories).

  • Height (Female): 150 cm.

  • Chest (Male): 81 cm (with expansion).

  • Vision: Near vision and distant vision as per medical standards.
