Some Useful Important Questions
Q1. Who can apply for DSSSB 2025 Various Posts?
➡️ Any Indian citizen who meets the post-wise educational qualification (which could be 10th / 12th / ITI / Diploma / Graduate / PG etc.), age limits, and other specific requirements (licenses, skills, or trade test) as specified in the notification. SC / ST / OBC / EWS / PwBD candidates get age-relaxation / fee exemptions as per rules.
Q2. Can final year students apply?
➡️ The notification does not clearly mention eligibility of candidates in their final year of studies. Generally, one needs to have completed the required qualification (passing) by the date of application or document verification. If the notification allows “appearing final year and submitting provisional certificate,” that will be mentioned specifically. Always check the specific post’s requirement in the official PDF.
Q3. What happens if I miss the last date for applying?
➡️ If you miss the last date (16 September 2025), you will not be able to apply for these posts. DSSSB does not accept late or paper applications. It's crucial to complete and submit the application on or before the deadline.
Q4. Does the exam have negative marking?
➡️ Some posts may have negative marking in the written / CBT test; the notification will mention this clearly. If present, wrong answers may lead to deduction (for example, 0.25 marks) for each incorrect answer. Always read exam pattern section of the notification for your particular post.
Q5. How will selection be done for posts like Forest Guard or Caretaker?
➡️ For posts such as Forest Guard, the selection typically includes:
- A written exam (or objective type test) to check general knowledge/language/numerical ability etc.
- Physical / fitness / endurance test as applicable (height, physical ability etc.).
- Documents verification and medical examination.
Caretaker and similar non-physical posts may require only written test + verification unless specified otherwise.
