Stages of Selection:

  1. Preliminary Examination (Phase I)
This is a screening test. Those who qualify will be shortlisted for Mains. Marks obtained in Prelims will not be included in the final merit.

  2. Main Examination (Phase II)
The mains is the core test — only mains marks (plus interview) count toward final merit.

  3. Interview
Candidates qualifying in the mains are called for interview (viva voce). This is part of final selection.

  4. Pre-Recruitment Medical / Document Verification
Final selected candidates undergo medical examination and verification of original certificates before appointment.
