Tier-I — Computer Based Test (CBT)

Type: Objective Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs).

Marks: 100 marks (commonly) — mixture of General Mental Ability/Logical Reasoning/General Awareness and subject-specific technical questions (electrical/electronics/computer science topics depending on the stream).

Tier-II — Skill/Subject Test
